Site Details
Budemeadows is a beautiful setting for a touring holiday situated on a sheltered and gentle lee slope. Nine acres of naturally landscaped parkland, protected and divided by mature and dense hedgerows. Oak, willow, sloe, hazel and wild honeysuckle in profusion. Magnificent surroundings of which we are truly proud. As a touring caravan site our park is suitable for caravans, camping and motorhomes and is arranged in groups of landscaped pitches separated by hedges and fences. A long established touring caravan site, Budemeadows is a peaceful place to stay and enjoy, located on the Atlantic Highway (A39) which provides a link to the rest of Cornwall and the delights of North Devon. Use it as a comfortable base for relaxed exploration of the many idyllic beaches, interesting towns and villages, of North Cornwall and West Devon. Tour the history steeped King Arthur's country, and the wood cloaked coastal valleys. From historic Launceston Castle, to the shaggy ponies of invigorating Dartmoor; and picturesque Clovelly; all within easy reach of Budemeadows.

Directions to the Site
The easy route - passes several Key North Devon attractions such as the Big Sheep, the Milky Way and Clovelly: Straightforward but there are several sharp bends between the Clovelly roundabout and Kilkhampton on the A39. Exit the M5 at junction 27 (signed Barnstable) Follow the A361 until you meet the roundabout before Barnstable. Then take the A39 (signed Bideford, Bude) passing Bideford, Clovelly and Kilkhampton. DO NOT leave the A39 at Stratton for Bude but continue South for approximately 3 miles. Budemeadows is signposted from the main road at the top of the rise just after the sign right for Widemouth Bay. Pull into the lay-by on the left and the camp site entrance is almost immediately on the left. The shortest route - this and the next route are suitable for those coming from London and the South East Via the A30/A303: Remain on the M5 until past Exeter services. Exit at junction 31, near the top of the hill, to the A30 (signed Okehampton). Exit the A30 at Okehampton and go through the town. After climbing a long hill take the right turn (A3079), it is signed ‘Bude, Holsworthy’. Avoid Holsworthy town by turning right on the (A3072), (signed Bude). Go straight across mini roundabout, turn right on the A3072 (signed Bude). When meeting the A39 at Stratton turn left. DO NOT follow the sign to Bude. Continue South for approximately 3 miles. Budemeadows is signposted from the main road at the top of the rise just after the sign right for Widemouth Bay. Pull into the lay-by on the left and the park entrance is almost immediately on the left. Longer route but better roads: Remain on the M5 past Exeter services. Exit at junction 31 to the A30 (signed Okehampton). Leave the A30 approximately 5 miles past the Launceston exit (ignoring all earlier signs for Bude) on the A395 (signed North Cornwall, Camelford, Wadebridge). Turn right at first roundabout, cross flyover, turn left at second roundabout and follow North Cornwall sign. At Hallworthy take the second turn right (signed Bude). At Give Way sign turn right onto A39 (The Atlantic Highway), continue on the A39 (Going North) for approximately 12 miles passing through Wainhouse Corner and Poundstock. Shortly after Poundstock watch out for "Budemeadows" sign on main road, shortly after sign to Widemouth Bay on the left. Pull into lay-by on right. The site entrance is at the far end of the lay-by, just before it rejoins the A39.
